Hi Video Man, It's Pete from NIUK Tech. Support here. I have been looking into your problem and unfortunetly you won't really be able to program a solution to obtain the phase for a single pixel, amplitude is fairly easy as it is just a voltage measurement.
The reason you will have great difficulty getting a good measurement for phase is that you would have to recreate a full sinusoid which takes place over several pixels. Also, for PAL the relative phase shifts by 90 degree's on each line which means you would have to know what line your pixel is taken from and therefore use that information to adjust your measurement to get the correct absolute phase. However, there is a company which uses our PXI-5122 cards together with our software and they have created a product that should do exactly what you require.
