This is funny. I was totally ignorant of Brian's solution when I created my own password cracker. Perhaps we can make this a LabVIEW coding challenge? Create the fastest VI password cracker?
I'm all for smart tools built in pure "visible" G. Still, there are times when it's prudent to protect one's work with a password. This thread should serve as a reminder to anyone that *does* use a password to protect their VIs - use long passwords that come as close to random as possible, with as high a mix of character types as possible. That's your best protection until someone cracks NI's password encryption scheme.
