Have not heard much about the "world-wide threat of biological warfare"
since the UN was granted permission to inspect Iraq for "weapons of mass
destruction". Finding none, the UN has left and is regrouping. I wonder
what their next step will be?

2 U.S. sailors discharged after refusing anthrax
Two U.S. sailors have been discharged from the Navy after refusing to take
an anthrax vaccine, and 14 other "refuseniks" are facing punishment, the
Pentagon said Thursday. Military officials said the discharged pair, who had
been aboard the aircraft carrier John C. Stennis in the Gulf, were drummed
out "for a continuation of sub-standard performance," not just for refusing
the mandatory shots. In December, Defense Secretary William Cohen ordered
all U.S. servicemen and women to receive the vaccination, delivered in three
courses, to protect them against a potential attack with anthrax, a
biological warfare agent.
