Well, the only problem I had with your analogy is that in order to
demonstrate it you had to move the two points closer together. <G>  But
you are correct that the research regarding the space/time continuum is
coming up with some amazing hypotheses that are being supported by
experimentation.  And Moore's Law does seem to be holding up to the
rigors of long term investigation.
