Simpson may or may not be gay.  IMO, it really doesn't matter.  What he
did to Nicole though was about power.  It had nothing to do with sexual
orientation, IMO.  He wanted to control her.  

This happens with people whether they are gay, straight, or otherwise. 
Simpson is a mean spirited, controlling, egotistic, selfish, sob.  Sorry
about that, but that is how I see him.  He had to have complete control
over Nicole and beating her is how he got it.  When she finally wouldn't
take it anymore, and he finally figured out that he had lost control
over her, he did the ultimate thing.  He killed her.  The ultimate
control.

IMO and that is all it is, sexual orientation had nothing to do with it.
