Hi Bill:
If I didn't know better, I would swear that this whole Starr/Clinton
thing was a John Grisham movie/story.
I think that McMillian was told by Jones' lawyers to get the hell out.
That WH dinner made a fool out of both of them. The one that showed
class in that situation, IMO, was Monica and Ginsberg by declining the
invitation. McMillian announced her goodbye right after that dinner.
At the dinner she was making all kinds of comments about what she and
her "friend" Paula were going to do.
These Hubble tapes are something else. Hubbles lawyer was saying
yesterday that he would never give permission to allow all the tapes to
be released. And so what happens today...
Last night on 60 Minutes there were two other people who got hit with
Starr. One of them said that he was given a script from Starr and told
to repeat everything that was on it to the Grand Jury. He declined to
do so. He said that he had told Starr the truth and that Starr was not
happy with it and wanted him to tell another story. There was a woman
on there also who worked at the bank and the same thing happened to
her. Her whole life was turned upside down by Starr. She went from
earning 100 thousand a year, to less than 25 thousand. With four kids
and grandchildren to support she ended up on food stamps. :(

Two rules in life:
1. Don't tell people everything you know.
