Native toolkits versus custom drawing was already extensively
discussed, a consensus was reached and there is little reason to
further discuss that.

LCL is flexible enougth to have both solutions, so there is no reason
that one excludes the other. Those that beliave that gtk is the way to
go on linux can implement lcl-gtk. Those that think differently can
implement our custom drawn toolkit, which is lcl-fpgui (with the
drawing tercerized to Graeme =) ).

My advice for supporters of custom drawing: Send patches to implement
lcl-fpgui =)
