At the moment Marc and Paul are rewriting some central parts of the image code, so the current lazarus in svn is quite unstable (for all platforms, not only carbon). AFAIK Tom already fixed a few range check errors. Always keep a backup copy of the last 'good' lazarus executable (this is a single file). Test with the latest revision and if the error is still there: Please create a backtrace and a bug report.
