Thanks Adrian.
I've reinstalled lazarus:
Version #: 0.9.25 beta
Date: 2008-09-24
SVN Revision: 16690
FPC Verson: 2.2.2
i386-win32-win32/win64
When starting Lazarus I'm getting the following error:
The Free Pascal compiler (filename: ppc386.exe) was not found.
It is recommended that you install fpc.

Hi Bob,
While I am not really sure what can be going on here, are you sure you updated
lazarus to the latest version?
You mention SVN 15267, here I have SVN 16667. That is over 1000 revisions after
the one you have. It looks to me like somehow you are still using the old
version that had the problem you reported initially. Can you try to delete
everything and have a clean build? I tried it here again just to make sure, and
still can't see any issues. Also, if as you stated in a previous email this
error was when installing the components, not when compiling them, I think the
issue happens when rebuilding lazarus itself, because it is finding pieces from
different versions in your hard disk.
Btw, from a little googling:
http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/pipermail/lazarus/2008-June/018279.html
In june 2008 they were already in 15566, so yours is even older.
Regards,
Adrian.
