Hi:

Last night I was able to virtualize a small Debian system
containing a SVN server, following instructions from
http://www.howtoforge.com/debian_subversion_websvn . The file
containing the virtual disk is allocated on a partition visible from
both windows+Lazarus and my real Debian+Lazarus. The virtual machines
on windows and linux use the same virtual disk.

Thus, I can develop my apps from Windows and Linux using the same
local/virtual SVN server. You must install VirtualBox on both windows
and linux.

Crosscompiling is excelent, but sometimes you need to perform real
tests on the real operative system. Moving the code back and forth is
very prone error.

This is probably not an original idea, but I have not found
something similar to what I have described on the list.

I have not tested it, but I am happy enough to post it on the list !

Gustavo

ps: excuse my english !
