Free Pascal Compiler version 3.0.2 [2017/02/06] for i386
And the one that I'm built from trunk, to be used for building Lazarus is:
Free Pascal Compiler version 3.1.1 [2017/10/09] for x86_64
BTW, the one found in PATH es x86_64, from /usr/local/bin/fpc.

I finally was able to install it by doing: make clean all
FPC=/usr/local/lib/fpc/3.1.1/ppcx64
