IMO reusable code should be named properly for a bigger context.

If you mean Lazarus packages: FPC has only one type of unit, so
Lazarus can't mark units private.
Of course you can write a library. Then all unit names are hidden. But
then you loose a lot of comfort.
You might want to help FPC with namespaces.
