G'day all,
I'm chasing a bug apparently introduced with commits 20240/20241. When I open Lazarus, as long as I
only have one editor tab open everything is ok. When I open a second tab, the first time I switch
tabs the caret disappears. The only way I can get the caret back is to focus something else (the
object inspector, about box, etc..) and re-focus the source editor. As soon as I do that the caret
returns, but disappears again when I next switch tabs.
Steps to reproduce :
Open lazarus
File->New Unit
Select Unit2 in the Source Editor..
..Caret gone
I've reverted 20240/20241 and that particular problem goes away. The only remaining issue is when
switching tabs the caret does not come back when the editor is focussed. It only returns when an
action is performed (mouse click or keypress).
This behaviour does not show up on Linux/GTK2.
