I have been using FlameRobin for 2 years already - only for executing
queries while I develop. Recently I tried to switch to Lazarus Data
Desktop for that, though LazDataDesktop still needs some work.
For table design, I still continue to use "Dezign for Databases". I
don't mind if the tool is Windows only, as long as it's not based on
.NET, I can normally run them without problems or effort via WINE.
Well, in that case I strongly encourage you to check out IBExpert. The
personal edition is free and has all but the most advanced features included.
For Firbird DB design, I think its hard to beat.
IMHO It is beaten easily by IBAdmin, for instance, but this is largely a matter
of taste, although I think I could present some objective criteria. :)
