Yes, it maybe even is.
If it is added with the same name, this one can be removed. Otherwise it will remain
for compatibility reasons, like
http://lazarus-ccr.sourceforge.net/docs/lcl/fileutil/dirpathexists.html and
http://lazarus-ccr.sourceforge.net/docs/rtl/sysutils/directoryexists.html which was
added later, IIRC.
