Dear Lazarus Developers ,
As of today ( 2009-December-11 ) , Lazarus is not available as an
installable package in no one of the following pages :

ftp://ftp.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-stable/All/
In the pages

there is no information about how to install it .

the following sentences are written :
To install the port: cd /usr/ports/editors/lazarus/ && make install clean
A package is not available for ports marked as: Forbidden / Broken /
Ignore / Restricted
During install by the phrase
cd /usr/ports/editors/lazarus/ && make install clean
the following errors are produced and lazarus is not installed at the end :
/usr/local/lib/fpc/2.2.4/units/i386-freebsd/fcl-db/Package.fpc
Please do not build firebird as ´root´ because
this may cause conflicts with SysV semaphores of running services

Stop in /usr/ports/databases/firebird20-client .
*** Error code 1
Stop in /usr/ports/databases/fpc-ibase .
*** Error code 1
Stop in /usr/ports/devel/fpc-fcl-db .
*** Error code 1
Stop in /usr/ports/editors/lazarus
