updates/upgrades simply for update/upgrade sake are worthless... next thing you
know, there'll be a flood of updates/upgrades that have had nothing more than
the version number changed because folk think that it must have a new version
and release every X days/weeks/months/years/etc... that's sad and suxorz...
heck, i've got products that have been out for 10+ years and have had no new
bugs found or features requested... what was released at the last release date
was as clean and bug-free as it could be... i won't even mention how upset my
alpha and beta testers used to get at me because there were no bugs for them to
find... so... i created "bug" routines for them :P
