Hello Marcelo,
I've recently been told about developing of a new fpc feature. The
feature would allow user to override a default message type (any hint,
note or warning) and treat it it as a error.
So determining a message type by its number would provide a wrong
result (at least icon of the message would be incorrect). But of
course, this feature is not yet implemented in FPC.
