Hi,
I have found the meu entry "tools - project template options" and
scanned the wiki for documentation about it - to no avail.
This menu item comes with the package 'projecttemplates' written by
Michael van Canneyt.
I added a wiki page:
http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/Project_Templates
What does it do exactly and in which format are the template expected to
be?
I assume this is something similar to the code completion feature
(ctrl-j), does it affect this feature too?
What I was searching for is simple access to my personal copyright
headers, comment block to put in front of functions and procedures, and
so on. I'd love if I could use them like ordinary text files but without
having to navigate a file manager to the directory outside the
lazarus/fpc tree each time.
Project templates are complete projects to start from.
/components/projecttemplates/README.txt
explains their usage.
