FPC (Trunk) and Lazarus (Trunk) as of this am. I'm debugging under XP (32bit) and I'm getting the same old hang I got under Linux a few weeks ago. When I run Lazarus.exe under gdb in command prompt I don't see any of the typical messages I did under Linux. I solved my linux problem by nuking all XML entries in the project file.
Further, I don't see any error messages but I suspect it's the CodeToolHelper object framework searching for an Include file that is present. I am getting tired of killing the prompt, gdb, and restarting every 10 - 40 seconds here. I built Lazarus with make clean debug. I see nothing in gdb. The IDE and all windows just goes white and unresponsive. CPU goes to 50%.
