Yep, with windows currently the modem appears on Virtual Com port 15 & 16.
3rd party drivers are available for linux, though I haven't tried them
yet.
Using Hyperterminal I can send SMS's using the AT commands.
What do you mean by Software ? Userland software or device driver,
closed source or open source ?
Both closed source,. the manufacturer doesn't provide drivers for Linux
but some are available. The providers (Userland software) is windows only.
It is this I wan't to replicate.
