Since I am used to having event driven serial communication my question is really twofold:1) Is serial communication with events not possible in FPC on Linux?
We have here: http://wiki.lazarus.freepascal.org/5dpo a component that does that (I think!) Is there anything that makes it unsuitable for your problem?
