Well, normally I use mod_fastcgi, but I also got fcgid working on linux.
mod_fastcgi works on windows and on linux. I prefer this, because it
has the ExternalFastcgiServer option, which is very convenient.
Thanks. I used fcgid because they deprecated fastcgi. I will give a try
with the later to see if works (I will also test with IIS)
