Not likely to succeed given the nagging effort I have had to put in to first get access to FTP and then to NNTP (several years between). We are part of a big Swiss corporation and now the Swiss auditors have zoomed in on another pet of theirs: They discovered that 40%+ of the employees in Sweden were local admins on their PC:s. Apparently that is a no-no according to them so now the IT department has been given the task of weeding down all of these admin users. The result is that everyone that has been demoted need to call an IT admin for every single update in Firefox and every single install they need to do.... Well, they can't get at us software developers because in our job description is that we must be able to perform admin tasks on our PCs. Stupid still and reflective of their thinking. -- Bo Berglund Developer in Sweden -- _______________________________________________ Lazarus mailing list [email protected] http://lists.lazarus.freepascal.org/mailman/listinfo/lazarus
