True.
I didn't need it and I hardly use lazbuild, so I would spend the 2 weeks
(probably more) on other things. There would be no lazbuild.

Then why there is progress? The progress is slow, but the task gets
smaller, not bigger, even though the project is growing.

The nogui widgetset came after lazbuild. The nogui widgetset simply
avoids linking to a widgetset and reduces the binary size. Absent of
the nogui widgetset does not prevent people from making a GUI app a
command line tool. It does not make it easier and thus I doubt
that it encourages users to do that.
