I again forgot how to check the version of GTK2. $ ldconfig -p | grep gtk shows (among other things): libgtk-1.2.so.0 (libc6) => /usr/lib32/libgtk-1.2.so.0 libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 (libc6,x86-64) => /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 (libc6) => /usr/lib32/libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 libgtk-x11-2.0.so (libc6,x86-64) => /usr/lib/libgtk-x11-2.0.so libgtk-x11-2.0.so (libc6) => /usr/lib32/libgtk-x11-2.0.so It can't be 2.0.
