You do know you can normally remove those reserved keyboard shortcuts?
Another standard think I do after a Ubuntu upgrade. I only leave about
3-5 shortcuts reserved to the window manager - the rest are all
available to my apps.
And if that doesn't help you can change the bindings for "Compile" in
Lazarus as well.
