I'll try to test that later, eventually on both SPARC and ARM Linux, but
today- for various reasons- is going to be very busy and difficult so I
crave indulgence.
One interesting thing is that I notice that the problem on ARM fails to
trigger a count in /proc/cpu/alignment, I've been tinkering with various
values on both Qemu and native.
