IIRC (at least with the version I use, 6.6.4) zeos doesn't clean the compiled units (.o and .ppu) and hardcodes its output directory to "build" (packages/lazarus/build). Try deleting all files there and see if it helps (though I think it just caused building errors, not the run-time error you are seeing).
