No, it's just the font issue.

I had a look with valgrind massif at the problem in
http://bugs.freepascal.org/view.php?id=18727. The problem is indeed fonts
not being released. I have a patch attached to the issue.
Thank you!. I hope next time I stumble into a similar problem[*] I'll
remember to use the massif tool instead of memcheck.
[*]TPicture.LoadFromFile I think also leaks memory under linux, but I
have to check.
