I've reverted from FPC 2.7.1 to 2.4.4 which was previously OK (apart
from floating-point code generation issues) without significant change
to the IDE behaviour.
There is debugger/test/GDBMI/TestGDBMI.lpi
A testcase, using the debugger class, but without the full IDE. Works
only in Laz trunk though.
But it might help to see, if the issue is in the debugger part of
Lazarus, or in the IDE elsewhere.
