2.5.1 was the name of the FPC version before 2.6 was branched then it became 2.7.1. The 2.6 branch is still named 2.5.1 until it is released.
So the 2.5.1 snapshot bascially uses the upcoming 2.6 and the 2.7.1 one is based on current trunk.
