For me it's ctr-shift F11 (maybe just F11 for you if you are not using
Suse Linux).

This opens the Project Options window at the point you left it last
time
(e.g. Buildmodes).
Not so intuitive, but can be used as workaround for kbd only users.
I'll see with Juha if it's possible to add special shortcut for build
modes switch (let it show buildmodes popup menu so you can choose
right build mode with keyboard).

Maybe we can add shortcuts for "Activate to build mode 1", "Activate to
build mode 2", ... "Activate to build mode 9"

What about scripts, which want to do e.g. a release build? How is that
possible on the commandline?

The help of lazbuild contains this:

--build-mode=<project build mode>
or --bm=<project build mode>
                      override the project build mode.

So this hopefully answers your question ;)

Regards,
Sven
