Who needs 8 million rows in a string grid? I tried 1 million and it
took 4 secs. 8 million created an endless loop and out of memory.
Maybe the grid should define a maximum.
I see your point.
Nonetheless, as you say, either it defines a maximum or behaves better
when filled up with many lines: suddenly misbehaving without any warning
is treacherous :-)
This should be put in LCL documentation.
