It seems to me Bernd meant Linux. Of course you can pass options to 'make' to create all kind of unusual files. But there is no 'make' command to delete-all-except, so it is impossible to fix all cases. We can add *.a to those places where it is missing, but that won't fix Bernd's issue about ppu files. > And what about *.res files? They are not created/updated by make. Mattias
