This cannot be fixed. Lazreport is not suitable for use in webapplications.
Some time ago, I started a new reporting engine exactly for this reason.
A well-designed reporting engine is independent of any widget set.
(see e.g. jasperreports in Java)

It will be open source.
I've been thinking of creating a library for reports based on JSON, but to
create something like this would take too much time.
The storage format is not really the problem.
The looping logic is far more difficult :(
