I've not closely followed your recent discussions with the Lazarus
devs,
so one little question: are you using the non-LCL designer included
with
Lazarus here?

Yes. Mattias wrote that for me a few years ago for another project.
Now it is also used for this xib-designer.

Biggest difference between this version and earlier versions is that
the xib-file is used as a resource-file, so it can be opened in Xcode
and thereafter opened in Lazarus again. The earlier version could
only export to xib-file, not import it.

Ok, nice. Finally the non-LCL designer is put to good use :P

What Joost did is exactly what it was intended to do.

Yes, I know. But it has taken some time until someone (even if that someone is the same person that requested its addition in the first place) has used it fully. When was the article about that feature published in the ToolBox? 2010? 2011?

November 2009.
But do not be mistaken: Joost uses it in his webpage technology since years.

It was a request by me and Joost (independently) to Mattias, BTW. Requested beginning September 2009, finished.... September 2009 :-)

Michael.
