Did you try and right click that window? (without selecting the text?)
It has a context menu "Copy version info to clipboard"
I suppose you are addressing mr Hestermann with that reply if not
I already typed that in my message, what I miss is the ability to press
ctrl+C on an exception/error dialog and copy the error message to the
clipboard.
