I don't know about windows. The gtk trees had problems.
But it was problem with gtk1, not gtk2 afair.
Anyway it is better to keep LCL treeview implementation since it's much
faster eg. lcl treeview is x10 faster than QTreeView (qt native
treeview) with few thousand items.
