Yes, the design maximizes the space for the value to avoid horizontal
scrolling.
Most users will have only a few additions, so in most cases
no scrolling is not needed.

You don't need many build modes to need horizontal space. Long
values are enough. For example
units/$(BuildMode)/$(TargetCPU)-$(TargetOS)/$(LCLWidgetType)
