To me it makes absolutely no sense to force the programmers to use different paradigms for different platforms. A decent programming system should hide this diorty stuff from the application programmer. Only who wants to dig deeper (for performance or to implement really platform specific stuff) should be forced (and able to) get there.

Win32 is dead anyway. (IMHO soon the main platforms to be supported will be LINUX in ARM 64 and Android. No notion of either with Embarcadero.)
