ahhhh... would that explain the one or two FPC windows i saw open and close on
my (older) w2k system when i went to look at the new screen?

:LOL: i didn't know anything was broken but i did wonder why it was taking so
long and why the HD light was flashing so much since i had just rebooted the
machine and waited on everything to settle down before starting Lazarus... i had
maybe a 5 or longer second wait before that screen drew... i pulled a new
revision from the repository earlier but i will pull another one and see how
that goes ;)
