Perhaps the Delphi developers have a look at FPC discussions and
innovations, and add useful features to Delphi?

That would be a first.

There have been several occasions when we had a feature first.
They have always added it differently.

Objective C support for example. Embarcadero simply stuffed it into their COM support while we already had the Objective Pascal implementation...
