Thanks, installing another (non-Tortoise) SVN version fixed the problem.


i don't know anything about 'their' (TortiseSVN) having any sort of 'bash shell'... AFAIK, there isn't such a beast on winwhatever...

Right, I confused SVN and GIT :-(
