Ido Kanner himself announced this package here in February 2013.
The code compiles still well. I tried a few minutes ago with Lazarus 1.3
r45669M FPC 2.7.1 x86_64-linux-qt.
It is good piece of code and should not be forgotten.
If Ido Kanner left the community, then maybe the package should be added to the
Lazarus source tree, so it does not get lost.
