I didn't 'chose to save with name "default"'.
But maybe I got a buggy version, which did it for me.

I can remove the two bars in "IDE Coolbar" options. But after restart
they reappear.
There is no "desktops manager", but searching through the IDE code I
found a "Manage desktops" under "Tools / Desktops ...".
I deleted in the "Manage desktops" the inactive "default".
Did you mean this?

Probably not, because after restart the duplicate coolbars reappear.

Should I create a bug report?
