Did you call strip on the command line? I think that if you do so you can get smaller executables. The strip that comes with lazarus does not seam to do a good job.

Calling strip from command line in Linux is identical to using the checkboxes in results. I've checked. Using the checkboxes in Win32 however seems to do nothing.
