Hey, also, maybe is better u wait for the begining of the next year,
so you can get a pc wich will be cheapper and faster than powerpc,
and then get OSX for x86 wich will be released the first days of the
next year. Actually, OSX Tiger for x86 already exist! i saw it on a
developer machine, and works awesome faster than the powepc one! and
you can compile actually on XCODE 2.1 for x86 osx and for powerpc
with the same compiler gcc4... Most software companies are
recompiling for x86 actually.. that's why apple have released the
tiger x86 only for developers, to have one year more or less to get
most applications ported to the new platform...
Im one of who will switch to an X86 notebook :)
