I am forwardind Bogusław Brandys message because it went only to me:

A few othere notes:

- when I type any letters into source editor under Lazarus IDE compiled
with GTK2 they appear in reverse order (Ubuntu 5.04)
- when I type Polish special characters they do not appear (but it may
be a problem with my font - I can't find under IDE font with UTF8
encoding - what I should do ? should I choose ISO8859-2 encoding for
Polish chars)
- all Polish chars are fine processes and displayed in final application
if typed into Object Inspector
- there is no such problems in Lazarus under Win32, but I guess someone
who want to port Linux application may have big troubles (does IDE
source editor in Lazarus under Windows support UTF8?)
- how to avoid those problems completly ? using resourcestrings and PO
files ? what about Chinesee/Japan other multibyte languages in that case  ?

P.S. Seems that detailed tutorial/FAQ is needed for in18 and
localization methods in Lazarus
We should have another FAQ based on subjects (like
"Internationalization",
"Multiplatform issues","Debugging","Database
support","Internet/intranet support" etc) schema, not just questions
(which is fine but to much shredded)

Regards
Boguslaw Brandys
