I did a global search and found it at $HOME/.lazarus/bin/lazarus.
One of the CCR pages says that will happen if /usr/share/lazarus
is not writeable. Ownership of /usr/share/lazarus was set to root:users,
and it was writeable by both owner and group; my account is in
group "users". Lazarus directory under environment options was
set to /usr/share/lazarus. I think I'll delete the whole thing and do
it again very carefully.
